Hmmm, being sarcastic in my previous comment.. i’ve got a question myself: i have an amd turion 64 x2 processor, but a 32 bit version of vista… so should i download and install uxtheme.dll from 6.0.6000.16386_XX_AMD64.rar or the 6.0.6000.16386_XX.rar?
the ux theme you take has to do with the kind of vista you use. for windows vista 32 bit you download the 6.0.6000.16386_XX.rar (even if you have a 64bit proccesor, i also have an amd 64bit).
for vista 64 you have to install 6.0.6000.16386_XX_AMD64.rar, and also not using any other file from ,my theme exept the visual style msstyle.

I am a computer noob. i have vista home premium and really like the theme. however, i can’t use it. i have no clue how to. i downloaded Win RAR to extract it. is that a good program? could somebody lead me through step by step.
exactly where do I get the uxtheme.dll? I clicked the link, but I’m not sure where to get that dll, I didn’t see it listed on the page there.
